OESD Science Education

The OESD Science Education Department provides support for the science education reform efforts of our regional school districts. The science department is committed to providing quality resources to schools in an effort to improve student learning.

• Stay abreast of research and best practices in curriculum support, teaching & learning, collaborative professional development, and leadership development.

Integration--OESD Science Education integrates its knowledge and practices with other departments and content areas.

• Collaborate with OESD Mathematics, Technology and Literacy programs to share expertise, resources and practices.

• Understand and create opportunities for science learning that support learning in mathematics, literacy and other content areas.
